The brief
Following the earlier phases, the remaining RAAC planks over the rear of the building were programmed for removal and replacement during the summer shutdown.
The challenge
The shutdown window was fixed and short. Materials were called off early and scaffold was struck in sections to release the areas below on time.
The result
All remaining bays were replaced inside the window, with the building fully reoccupied on the first day of term.
